Polish Supplementary School of Long Island was founded on the initiative of parents in May 2018. The purpose of our our organization, as the Statute says, is to learn the Polish language, history, geography and learn about Polish culture, cultivate and pass on Polish traditions to the young generation. Our curriculum is based on traditional textbook teaching enriched by games, plays and competitions. The school is subordinate to the Headquarters of Polish Vocational Training Schools in America and works based on o “Curriculum for Polish Diaspora in the USA”. The school offers activities for preschoolers (4 and 5 year old) for students grades I-VIII, and prepares students for the LOTE exam.
